Understanding your Surf Internet Bill

We want to make it easy for you to understand your monthly Surf Internet bill. Here's a breakdown of what each section of your bill means.

1. Account Information

Located at the top of your bill:

  • Account Number: A unique number associated with your Surf Internet account.

  • Bill Date: The date the bill was generated.

  • Name and Address: The name and service address where Surf Internet is provided.


2. Previous Balance and Payments

This section summarizes:

  • Previous Balance Due: The amount that was due on your last bill.

  • Payment Received: Any payment made since your last bill (e.g., Received Feb 28 $70.00CR – the “CR” means credit, indicating payment was received).

  • Unpaid Balance as of [Date]: The remaining unpaid balance after recent payments. If this is $0.00, it means the previous balance was paid in full.


3. Current Charges Summary

This includes:

  • Billing Period: The timeframe you're being billed for (e.g., Mar 13 through Apr 12).

  • Service Type and Plan: The service provided (e.g., Internet - Fiber - 500/500 Bundled).

  • Monthly Charge: The cost of your internet plan for the billing period (e.g., $70.00).


4. Total Amount Due

At the bottom of your bill:

  • Total Current Charges Due by [Due Date]: The amount you owe for the current billing period and when it’s due.

  • Total Amount Due: Same as above unless there are late fees or unpaid balances.
